If you have a proficiency in project management and at least 5 years of experience in space or aeronautical transport, then this position is for you!

By joining us, you will provide the service development lead in the civil aviation domain and supports the service development activities in other domains

Main responsibilities/activities:

  • Support the Service Development Manager in the use of the SoL service in Aviation, and providing support to its use in any other domain as well:

o Participates to key supporting cells/standardisation bodies (workshops, taskforces, etc.) within the relevant civil aviation organizations;
o Collaborates to the establishment of formal relationships with Air Navigation Service Providers and aviation users and stakeholders;
o Contributes to negotiate, sign and maintain the EGNOS Working Agreements with ANSPs (Air Navigation Service Provider) in the civil aviation domain.
o Supports the definition and maintenance of the corresponding Working Agreements templates in any SoL application domain;
o Interfaces with key aviation sector stakeholders such as Eurocontrol, ICAO or EASA

  • Support to the definition/provision of advisory SBAS services in the ATM (Air Traffic Management) domain
  • Support to promotion events on EGNOS applications for the aviation sector.

Profile:

Generic Skills:

- High level of English (B2-C1) – CEFR
- Ability to assume responsibilities
- Sense of responsibility and proactiveness

Specific Skills:

- Project management
- Service Development oriented
- Relevant knowledge of EGNOS and GNSS in General.
- Strong knowledge of aviation sector and Single European Sky (SES) regulation

Job Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience in the aviation sector and 3 years of experience in a field relevant to GNSS/EGNOS Services and Applications.

Engineering Master degree or equivalent

Experience in projects in an international context (European)

Availability for regular travel, especially in Europe
