GNSS Performance and tools Engineer - (F/M)
The GNSS Performance Engineer is responsible for the management and maintenance of SBAS (Satellite Based Augmentation Systems) and GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) performance analysis tools. She/He monitoring and analyse the EGNOS Signal in Space performance anomalies. She/He contributes to the ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organisation) Space Weather service as on duty forecaster.
The GNSS Performance and tools Engineer is responsible for:
EGNOS SIS and performance monitoring:
Maintenance in operational conditions of GNSS Signals collection, archiving and processing chain (including Radio Frequency and Software aspects) and keeping relevant document up to date.
Provision of technical support to ESSP IT department regarding the integrity and availability of GNSS data (rinex, ionex, SP3…)
Monitoring of the EGNOS signal performances including the characterization, analysis and reporting of observed degradations of GNSS signals;
Responsible on the integration and exploitation of GNSS internal and procured software within the Engineering/Performance team (Pegasus, STK, RTKLib)
Provision of technical reports addressing underperformance events or EGNOS SIS related studies.
Coordination with other company departments and coordination within the other teams of the Engineering department when needed.
ICAO Space weather service provision:
Space weather condition monitoring (forecaster role) in the frame of ICAO Space Weather service.
Contribution to Technical analysis and data processing combining both GNSS and Space weather aspects.

Good communication, synthesis and reporting skills
Good level of English (B2) – CEFR
Specific Skills:
Strong background on GNSS technologies, standards, signal processing and SBAS architectures
Solid experience in software development and data processing techniques in the GNSS field (Matlab/Python)
Knowledge of space systems operations and real time service delivery.
Job Requirements:
For Space Weather service with ICAO:
Available for work starting on 06 UTC for supporting ACFJ (Australia-Canada-France-Japan) Consortium internal handover (about 20 days per year),
Available for on-call duty (daytime work) during weekends and public holidays (10 to 15 days per year).
Engineer degree or equivalent.
More than 5 years of relevant experience on EGNOS System in SBAS/GNSS domain
Experience in international project (European)
