People & Infrastructures Security Engineer – (F/M)

The People & Infrastructures Security Engineer manages health and safety issues at work, the security of the Company's infrastructures and ensures the Company's compliance with applicable laws and regulations on health and safety.

Under the responsibility of the CSO (Chief Security Officer), her/his main activities are:

Define and enforce the company's health and safety policy:

- Propose and enforce the health and safety rules applicable to the Company;

- Update the guidelines to be adopted in terms of risk prevention and personal safety;

- Participate to the meetings of the Social and Economic Committee (Comité Social et Economique), in liaison with the Human Resources department;

- Assist the Chief Security Officer and ESSP site managers for all health and safety aspects;

- Monitor legal and regulatory aspects to ensure the Company's compliance;

- Lead and coordinate information and awareness actions in the field, in liaison with the Human Resources and Communication departments.

Manage Health and Safety Risks:

- Assess the risks regarding health and safety at work;

- Identify, propose and monitor prevention and compliance actions;

- Manage the “Document Unique” (Toulouse site);

- Put in place the prevention plans necessary for subcontracted activities and external missions of ESSP staff (travels and missions).

Manage the security of goods, infrastructures and people:

- Contribute to the definition of the policies for the security of infrastructures and material assets of the Company or of its Customers;

- Day-to-day management of site security systems and procedures: fire protection, video surveillance, access management, alarm management, PPE - Personal Protective Equipment - management, etc.;

- Help maintain the Company's certifications (ISO 27001).

Contribute to the security of the services delivered to Customers (in particular EGNOS):

- Provide her/his technical expertise in terms of physical security, in particular for the security of EGNOS sites and the security of logistics services;

- Contribute to the security of the Customers' information systems (EGNOS, EDAS, NOTAM, etc.) and to their compliance with the applicable requirements in her/his area of expertise;

- Gradually take over the definition, implementation or monitoring of security improvement actions, including IT infrastructure aspects (networks, systems, etc.).


Generic Skills:

- Autonomous with good capability for team work

- Ability to coordinate the actions of different actors of the company

- Rigorous, pragmatic and discrete

- Pedagogical and communication skills, especially with regards to the company staff

- Ability to anticipate and eager for technological and regulatory monitoring

- Good English Level (B1-B2) – CEFR

- Good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Visio)

Specific Skills:

- Excellent knowledge of legal and regulatory standards in the H&S domain

- Good knowledge of H&S risk analysis methodologies

- Good knowledge of standards and technical solutions for the security of installations, infrastructures (energy, telecoms, network, technical rooms) and people

- Good knowledge of information systems and IT technologies

Other preferable skills:

- Knowledge of critical systems and associated constraints (dependability)

- Knowledge of access control systems (including Synchronic), intrusion alarms and video surveillance

- Knowledge of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and CNIL (Commission Nationale de l’Informatique et des Libertés) regulations.

Job Requirements:

- Available for occasional travels in Europe.

- Access to this position may require a Personal Security Clearance (PSC) at EU level.

- Engineering degree or equivalent

- Experience of at least 2 years in Health & Safety or in the security of infrastructures and assets.
