If you are rigorous, with a good level of English, able to assume responsibilities & to manage a team and have very good technical knowledge of EGNOS & SBAS systems, then this position is for you!
By joining us, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing performance EGNOS signal and for the Space Weather service provision. In addition, you will be the point of reference of the expertise in the field of the EGNOS Signal and of the system performances.
For EGNOS activities:
Leading a team of engineers, in this capacity she/he will be responsible for the management of activities within the team as well as its good internal coordination,
Following the daily performance of the EGNOS signal in space performance and provision of related reports,
The detection, the analysis and the monitoring of anomalies linked with the performance of the signal, as well as the coordination of the associated system analysis. She/he also proposes operational workaround (OWA) concerning the anomalies impacting the system performances,
Ensuring the maintenance of the means needed for the activity as well as the GNSS expertise about the performance analysis tools. This expertise will also allow to supply support to the team ensuring the operations of the performance tools or to specify evolutions,
The monitoring of the key performance indicators (KPI) associated to her/his perimeter,
Participation to the PEA (Product Evolution Activities) and PSS (Product Support Services) reviews concerning the EGNOS performances ,
For Space Weather activities:
The team providing the Space Weather service,
The proper management of the Space Weather activity
Ability to assume responsibilities
Shows initiative and is able to synthesize
Management and employee development
High level of English (B2-C1) – CEFR
Very good technical knowledge of EGNOS and SBAS systems in particular
Good knowledge of the operations of space systems or aeronautics in general
Experience in software tools to monitor performance of SBAS systems
Knowledge on Space weather and its impact on GNSS would be an advantage.
Available for regular trips, especially in Europe.
Subject to the constraints of minimum presence during periods of normal leave (July / August, Christmas, February, Easter).
Engineer degree or equivalent.
5 years of experience in international/european projects and experience in team management.
