System Quality Engineer – F/M

If you are rigorous with a good level of English and proficiency in Quality and have at least 5 years of experience in space or aeronautical transport and quality domains, then this position is for you!

By joining us, you will provide support to the company as a whole, through the maintenance of the company management system (quality system), the support to the improvement actions and the leading of improvement projects.

Main responsibilities:

Your main responsibilities to provide Quality support to all projects, services and activities:

Support to the Management System:

 Maintain the quality system and drives its improvement (maintains the schedule, reports, alerts, ...)
 Be in charge of the processes map, ensures with the owners the adequacy of the KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and of the consistency of the interfaces
 Lead the accompaniment actions for the improvement and for the changes to the quality system

Support to the activities of:

 Improvement:

o Be in charge of the company continuous improvement process;
o Identify, propose and gather improvement proposals and submit them for approval;
o Drive the awareness & promotion of quality assurance, lead accompaniment actions for the improvements, and keep the corresponding material up-to-date on the intranet
o Centralize, monitor, coordinate and ensure the proper performance of transversal and continuous improvement actions, stemming from audits or other sources, in coordination with risks, certification and audits managers;
o Alert in case of problem with the progress of the actions;
o Drive improvement projects after approval by their manager or by the management team in coordination with the concerned departments and with the Operational Quality Engineer;
o Support all improvement actions and projects led in the various units.

 Audits & Anomalies management :

o Lead the root cause analysis sessions;
o Centralize, monitor, coordinate and ensure the proper performance of corrective actions, stemming from audits or other sources, in coordination with risk, certification and audit managers;
o Alert in case of problem with the progress of the actions;
o Be in charge of the implementation of the audit corrective actions in their perimeter of activity.

 Reporting :

o Prepare the dashboard and associated reporting for their perimeter of activity.

Support to projects:
o Participate in the preparation of quality assurance plans
o Perform quality assessments (documents review, tests follow-up/monitoring, performance of the tests of the operational baseline);
o Provide their support in terms of methods and advice, alert, ensure the application of processes, of risks management.
Support to services:
o Perform the assessment of deliverable & important documents (documents review);
o Provide their support in terms of methods and advice, alert, ensure the application of processes, of risks management.

Back-up for the Operational Quality Engineer

Profile:

Generic Skills:

 Rigour, Ability to summarize
 Good interpersonal skills
 Very good Level of English (C1) – CEFR
 Spanish would be a plus

Specific Skills:

 Proficiency in Quality (operational & system quality)
 Project Management
 Transversal management
 Office usual software proficiency (MS Office Excel, …)

Job Requirements:

Available for regular travel (especially in Spain)
Experience of at least 5 years in the industry (space, aeronautics, rail, automotive) in the domain of quality and/or project management
Master's degree or equivalent
Experience in projects in an international context (European)
