We are thrilled to announce that registration is now open for the EGNOS Workshop 2025, taking place on October 1–2 in Berlin, Germany. Co-organized by ESSP and EUSPA (European Union Agency for the Space Programme), this two-day event will bring together EGNOS stakeholders, decision-makers, industry leaders and users from the EU Space sector.

ESSP has officially announced the Entry into Service (EIS) of a new Iris Ground-Ground Router (Iris GGR) and associated network enhancements on the Iris Service Provider backbone (ISP). This is a key milestone in the Iris Programme, an initiative led by the European Space Agency (ESA) and powered by ESSP and Viasat.

Signing an EGNOS Working Agreement (EWA) between ALBCONTROL and ESSP represents a significant milestone, as it marks a strategic commitment to support the safety and efficiency of Air Navigation Services within the Albanian airspace. By formalizing its cooperation with the European Satellite Services Provider (ESSP), ALBCONTROL paves the way for the implementation of EGNOS-based procedures in the near future.

The EGNOS Workshop 2025 will take place on October 1-2, 2025, at the Leonardo Hotel in Berlin. This hotel is situated in the heart of the city, making it easily accessible for participants travelling from different countries.
