ESSP SAS and EUSPA, in collaboration with EASA, Dassault Aviation, Collins Aerospace, Airbus, NetJets and Universal Avionics, have developed a high level material to facilitate the implementation of Enhanced Flight Vision Systems (EFVS) operations based on Satellite Based Augmentation Systems (SBAS).

This ESA project targets to support and facilitate the provision of satellite-based solutions for ATM. This novel European satellite-based surveillance system named Eurialo will have the mission to provide complementary ATM surveillance services on a global basis, and independently from other systems (EG: GNSS; ADS-B).

ESSP (European Satellite Services Provider) just received today the certification as Iris Service Provider (ISP) from the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

ESSP has become the service provider of Iris, the ground-breaking programme, powered by SB-S connectivity solution, as it progresses towards commercial service.
