Fly with us! Online LPV Flight Simulator available!

Are you familiar with LPV (Localizer Performance with Vertical guidance) approaches? Do you want to learn more about its operational principles?

ESSP invites you to virtually fly an LPV thanks to its available Online LPV Flight Simulator. For detailed information on how to use it please check the Help section when running the simulator or read the online User Manual.

With close to 4000 LPVs published in the United States and around 400 in Europe, it is clear that these GNSS-based approach procedures (RNP GNSS Approach procedures down to LPV minima) are here to stay and simplify our lives.

LPVs are operationally equivalent to a Category I Instrument Landing System (ILS). LPVs do not require the installation or maintenance of navigation aids at the airport since the navigation service is provided to the aircraft entirely by satellites. LPVs can increase safety, airport capacity and flexibility and are a key enabler for Performance Based Navigation (PBN).

Contact us if you want to learn more about LPV or PBN implementation.

(Note: Simulator optimized for latest versions of Mozilla and Chrome (minimum Chrome 47+ and Mozilla 45+). Please check minimum and recommended system requirements in the Simulator User Manual).
