Created in 2009, ESSP is a young and dynamic company, a pan European service provider, certified by EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency) to deliver safety-critical services. Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance(CNS) services, among which, the main one is, the EGNOS service (the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service), on behalf of the EUSPA (the European Agency for Space).

We are looking for a GNSS Engineer who will operates tools to execute data processing with the aim of predicting, monitoring, doing a first analysis and reporting EGNOS Mission performances.

We are looking for an Engineer with 2 years of professional experience in satellite navigation domain in more preferably in EGNOS domain. If you think you meet the requirement, this position might be for you!

Main responsibilities/activities:

- Operate the mission performance tools and perform the required activities to guarantee the processing of EGNOS data and the monitoring of EGNOS performances,

- First identification, assessment and notification of performance anomalies,

- Participation in daily Service & Performance Monitoring Board,

- Write routine performance report such as the monthly public report,

- Prepare ad-hoc performance report which are based mainly on direct outputs of mission performance tools,

- Coordinate with the relevant ESSP members to incorporate specific needs in your daily work,

- Collaborate with relevant ESSP members in the elaboration of those performance reports,

- Carry out the required activities to guarantee the support of the main EGNOS operations through the monitoring of the mission performances, namely during system deployments,

- Make the necessary analysis using the appropriate tools (mainly simulators) to assess the impact of planned and unplanned operations tasks in the mission performances and report it through the specified means (report, website etc),

- Collaborate in maintenance tasks of the archive and the different performance tools of SPU,

- Feed the User Support Website with the required performance data,

- Make backup of data,

Profile:

- Anticipation and adaptability
- Team spirit and cooperation
- A very good capacity of analysis and synthesis
- Analyse, synthesise and format information from the measurement systems to deliver usable results.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Good analysis and investigation skills
- Good level of English (B1-B2) - CEFR.

Job Requirements:

Language: English (B2) – CEFR and Spanish (desirable)
Engineering degree or equivalent

Human Resources information:
