Created in 2009, ESSP is a young and dynamic company, a pan European service provider, certified by EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency) to deliver safety-critical services. Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance(CNS) services, among which, the main one is, the EGNOS service (the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service), on behalf of the EUSPA (the European Agency for Space).

The Software Quality Engineer is responsible for the assurance and control activities of software development, maintenance, and acquisition, in collaboration with Project Leaders, Functional and Technical leaders. You will also be in support to adapt applicable processes to each software project.

Main responsibilities/activities:

Support to software development, maintenance and acquisition
In collaboration with Project Leaders, Functional and Technical leaders:
- Contribute to the preparation and implementation of Project Plans (PMP, Quality Assurance, control, configuration management plan, documentation management plan, and validation plan). You will help to understand processes and their adaptability to the project context to produce adapted and efficient plans,
- Perform quality controls according to the project control plan (documents review, tests monitoring, anomalies follow-up… according to standards such as ECSS or DO178),
- Contribute to impact analysis of changes,
- Provide support for methods, advise members of the projects, ensure proper implementation of risk and action management,
- Work in collaboration with the other team members, for delivery, planning, or budget,
- Anticipate risks related to non-quality and alert the Project Leader and manager,
- Ensure the update of the Tools Repository by the Functional leader of the software application.

Support to software applications:
- Validate the functional specifications produced,
- Validate tests plans,
- Support on interactions with the IT department,

Management of the ESSP software applications repository:
- Ensure the regular update of the ESSP software applications repository,
- Maintain the associated procedure and the structure of the repository,
- Produce customer deliverables related to the ESSP software applications repository.
- Ensure satisfaction of all customers or company functions that need proper data in the repository,etc.)

Reporting & Continuous improvement:
- Manage information and training sessions related to Software Quality assurance and control,
- Propose and lead improvement actions on their activities,
- Collect new needs and needs for evolution (lessons learnt, satisfaction surveys, etc.),
- Manage associated reporting for their perimeter of activity,
- In charge of the implementation of the audit corrective actions in their perimeter of activity.

Job Requirements:

Languages: High English Level (B2) - CEFR
Engineering degree or equivalent
- Proficiency in Software Quality assurance/ control
- Capacity to adjust processes to implementation context
- Good knowledge of Project Management
- ECSS, DO178, software quality standards,
- Animation skills
- Riguour, Ability to summarize
- Good interpersonal skills
- Adaptation skills
- Office usual software proficiency (MS Office Excel, …)
