South Korea Aerospace Research Institute (KARI) and ESSP (European Satellite Service Provider) again sealed their collaboration by signing a new contract for the second phase of preparation of KASS (Korea Augmentation Satellite System).

ESSP successfully gained ISO 27001:2013 certification in July 2019. The award ceremony took place in the ESSP’s Toulouse premises on 11th October 2019.  The ESSP’s CEO Mr. Thierry Racaud and, the AFNOR Occitanie representative Mr. Patrice Garcia were in attendance, amongst others.

ESSP (European Satellite Services Provider) started its operations as a French SAS (société par actions simplifiée – joint stock company) in April 2009, with its first EGNOS contract for the European Commission. With this new contract, the company decided to move from Brussels to Toulouse and Madrid.

ESSP (European Satellite Services Provider) and ASECNA (the Agency for Air Navigation Safety in Africa and Madagascar) have signed a cooperation agreement during the Paris Air Show.

Munich Satellite Navigation Summit is a two-day international conference, the perfect occasion to have an updated status of the various GNSS (GPS, Beidou, Glonass, Navic [India], QZSS [Japan] and Galileo of course) and SBAS systems in the world (WAAS, EGNOS, GAGAN, SDCM and MSAS [Japan]), and to meet with the European GNSS community.

ESSP (European Satellite Service Provider), and Serbia and Montenegro Air Traffic Services SMATSA llc (SMATSA), have recently signed two EGNOS Working Agreements (EWA), as a key first step for the implementation of EGNOS-based approach procedures (LPV SBAS procedures) in Serbia and in Montenegro. This establishes an outstanding milestone as it is the first time that an EGNOS Working Agreement is signed in The Balkans.

The agreement will enable the publication of EGNOS-based approach procedures in this Icelandic airports

EGNOS Service Provider, ESSP, and the Lithuanian Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP) SE Oro navigacija have recently signed an EGNOS Working Agreement (EWA), as a key first step for the implementation of EGNOS-based approach procedures (LPV SBAS procedures) in Lithuania.
