This new issue has been updated to reflect the changes in EGNOS system and more importantly to reflect the performance improvements  of the current EGNOS release ESR2.4.1M.

The European Satellite Services Provider (ESSP) announces that on 15th September, the first EGNOS-based approaches implemented in Hungarian territory became effective at Budapest Airport. The publication of these procedures has been possible thanks to the work performed in the framework of Budapest 2.0 project, funded by SESAR Joint Undertaking.

Operated by Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), launch customer of the Bombardier CS100, the world’s CS100 maiden flight, took place last Friday 15^th July. The approach to Paris Charles de Gaulle was performed using an EGNOS based LPV-200 procedure.

The European Satellite Services Provider (ESSP) announces that on 3rd May, the first LPV-200 approaches were implemented at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport (LFPG) – the first such approaches to be implemented in Europe. This announcement follows the publication of the EGNOS-based procedures on 28th April.

The GSA and ESSP are conducting the 2015 EGNOS User Satisfaction Survey. This survey is done in a yearly basis, as part of the process to better understand the EGNOS users’ needs.

The European GNSS Agency (GSA) has launched a public questionnaire to understand surveyors’ and reference network providers’ needs with respect to EGNOS and Galileo.

The EGUS SC-2 [Specific Contract # 2] Project is tailored to give support to the EGNOS adoption by EU flight operators.
